After a morning of sitting in Starbucks and thinking about what the Church could learn about their "why" from the coffee giant (read the article below), I found this humorous video. Enjoy!
Right now I am sitting in my favorite Starbucks location. I decided to come over here this morning before heading out to worship and a day full of meetings to get a little writing done. Actually, I had planned on writing a new article for the site that I have been “chewing on” for a couple of days and thought it was about time to actually write down.
Good intentions. However, when I arrived here this morning I found the place PACKED! There are at least 35 seats in this particular location…and every one of them is full! In addition, there are people sitting on the windowsills and there has been a line of people waiting to order of at least six to eight people since I got here. It is incredible! There is an energy, and excitement, a desire to hang out here. It has also got me thinking…and I need to shift what I was planning on writing about this morning (don’t worry, I’ll still try to write on the other topic at a later time)…
